Watch all Marvel series in the right order.

Iron Man, Doctor Strange, Black Widow vs. Ms. Marvel, Loki and She-Hulk. No, this isn’t a reference to the Marvel animated series What if…?, which showed us alternate timelines in the MCU. Marvel fans will of course immediately recognize here that the first three are all Marvel movies, and the others are TV shows. We’ve made this article as a guide for all those out there wondering about the best order to watch Marvel’s small-screen content.

Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel & She-Hulk – three new series on Disney Plus

After our article on the right order to watch the Marvel movies (which also contains our Marvel News Corner!), we decided to take a look at the other side of the MCU with today’s article about Marvel TV series. Phase 4 has included lots of spin-offs such as WandaVision and Hawkeye, which launched exclusively on Disney+. And the creators of Marvel have already confirmed several future Marvel series, so we’ll have plenty of content for the next few years.

Six-part series Moon Knight debuted in March, 2022. In it, unremarkable museum worker Steven Grant (Oscar Isaac) finds himself plagued by nightmares and bizarre flashbacks to a past life. From that, he finds out that he shares his body with mercenary Marc Spector, which quickly causes his life to change drastically. Steven/Marc must make a decision: will he allow his dark side to take over and go to war with even more sinister forces as anti-hero Moon Knight?

Since June 8th of last year, Marvel fans have been able to stream long-awaited spin-off Ms. Marvel on Disney+. This new entry in the MCU revolves around young second-generation hero Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) alias Ms. Marvel, who suddenly finds herself with the same superpowers as her Marvel idols. And before too long, she realizes that is not only super cool, it also brings a lot of responsibility.

And strike three came on August 18th of last year. Since then, Disney+ subscribers have had access to the newest Marvel series, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. In classic Disney+ style, one episode was released every week for a ten-episode run.

Marvel shows in chronological order

In addition to Moon Knight and Ms. Marvel, we have another few MCU Phase Four series to stream. But for now, we put all currently existing Marvel series into a list ordered by release date, linking the trailer and running down the sound quality. In the list are blockbuster series like Loki, WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

PS: Some Marvel fans consider a different order the “right” one. All the flashbacks, time jumps, and overlapping plots have led some sources to recommend the MCU’s official chronology, which we have also included at the end of this article.

What’s next? Small-screen content to look forward to

First off, let’s get the bad news out of the way: She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and I Am Groot marked the end of MCU Phase Four. That means there are no new Marvel shows to binge in the near future.

But luckily, Marvel’s producers have already announced for the 2023 launch of MCU Phase 5. Below, we’ve listed all Marvel shows which have been officially confirmed (including release date and trailer when available.)

MCU Phase 5:

  • Marvel’s What If…? Season 2 (Likely release – first half of 2023)
  • Secret Invasion (Spring 2023 / Trailer)
  • Echo (likely summer 2023)
  • Loki Season 2 (likely summer 2023)
  • Ironheart (likely fall 2023)
  • Agatha: Coven of Chaos (likely winter 2023 or early 2024)
  • Daredevil: Born Again (spring 2024)

In typical fashion, the internet is rife with speculation about several more Marvel shows. For example, the officially announced animated series Marvel Zombies and Spider-Man: Freshman Year. Since little has leaked on them officially thus far, we’ll leave it for now and wish you a fun the Marvel marathon! We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled and updating this article regularly to keep you up to date.
